A Partial Solar Eclipse Has Started in Europe. Here’s How to Watch.

The partial solar eclipse began in Iceland at 8:58 a.m. local time on Tuesday.

It will be visible from Europe, northern Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

The moon will block 15 percent of the sun in London and 20 percent in Chelyabinsk, Russia.

Because the moon is smaller than Earth, its shadow can only be seen from a very small part of the Earth's surface.
